You will be studying within the Academy of Land and Environment’s agriculture department as well as our world class food department, and learn through a combination of classroom-based theory sessions, practical hands-on experience working on the college farm and in our food production halls, and through a day of on-line learning.

Understanding product components through their scientific properties

Farm livestock production, husbandry and health

Crop handling storage and farm assurance

Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications
