Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus

This is a one day Integrated Training and Assessment (ITA) course, registered with Lantra, focusing on the use of Cable Avoidance Tools (CAT) & Genny.

The course covered the identification and interpretation of utilities apparatus and highways services encountered during excavations. It also looks at the hazards and risks associated, and advantages and limitations of pipe and cable location equipment.
