Operating Mounted, Trailed and Self Propelled Air/Fluid Nozzle Horizontal Boom Sprayers LANTRA or City & Guilds, NPTC.The course has been designed for operators who wish to apply pesticide using mounted or trailed equipment, and covers:
Basics of spray applicationPreparation of machineHow sprayers workNozzlesCalibrationSpray qualityMixing & FillingField work including Environmental Risk AssessmentDecontamination & tank washingFault findingStoragePA1 and some tractor driving experience are required for this unit. This course covers all safety checks, maintenance, calibration and operation of the sprayer.
