Course overview
This 1 day PA6A Knapsack Sprayer training course takes place partly in a classroom environment and partly outdoors. The first part of the day’s training looks at PPE, Product Labels and the Calibration of the Handheld Applicator. Our very experienced Instructor provides his own workbooks for you to take away and product labels to study. The practical element of the course takes the trainees outside where an area is marked out and sprayed with water using the earlier calculations made to cover such an area in a timely manner. (No chemicals are used on the training day!)Some of the topics covered are as follows:• Product Labels• Calculations and Calibrations of the Applicator• Environmental management• Handling of Chemicals• Record keeping• Personal Protective EquipmentFollowing the training day, our Lincolnshire Assessment Centre will contact each trainee to arrange a City & Guilds assessment at their own premises. Once the assessment is successfully completed then a Skills ID Card will be issued showing all the City & Guilds units which have been attained to date. Please note we also offer a 1 Day course in PA6AW Hand-held Applicator near Water (Hydraulic/Rotary Atomiser).
