Course overview
To apply pesticides in a professional setting, you must be qualified. This involves the completion of two modules, Safe Use of Pesticides, which is a theory module, and an additional “application” module.We offer the following one day pesticide training courses:Safe Use of Pesticides (level 2 award) – known as PA1, this course is mandatory for all pesticide users, regardless of the method of application. It covers regulations relating to pesticides, as well as understanding product information, managing personal and environmental hazards and dealing with incidents. To use pesticides you must hold this qualification AND another relating to the application method.
