Course overview
This qualification is designed to educate Learners about health and safety in the workplace. The qualification covers understanding risk assessment, identifying and controlling the risks from common workplace hazards, the legal requirements related to health and safety in the workplace and what to do in response to accidents and incidents at work. QA Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF) is registered on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) regulated by Ofqual.Aim of the QualificationThe aim of the qualification is to enable Learners to develop their health and safety awareness. It helps the Learner build an understanding of health and safety in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in ensuring the workplace is a safe working environment.
