Course overview
This 3 day course will cover:
Day 1 - PA1 which is classroom based and will take you through current legislation/ health & safety etc.
Day 2 - operating the knapsack equipment for PA6. By the end of the day you will be able to understand how to use pesticides and equipment safely and become a safe and competent user.
Day 3 - an assessment (approx. 3 hours)
We also run add-ons to go with the PA6 qualification, they are:
• PA6 (AW) for spraying near water - £115
• PA6 (Injection) - Operating hand held pesticide injection equipment - £155
• PA6 PP (Plugs) – installing pesticide plugs in tree stumps - £155
• We can also run PA1/PA3 which is Safe Application of Pesticides using Variable Geometry Boom or Broadcast Sprayers Award – this is usually used in Orchards/chicken houses etc. We could come to your place of work to do on-site training and assessment for this qualification. Cost of this is £505
