Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance & CrosscuttingLevel 2 Award in Felling Trees (up to 380mm)Level 3 Award in Felling & Processing Trees (over 380mm)Level 3 Award in Severing Uprooted or Windblown Trees using a ChainsawCOURSE CONTENTIdentify the risk assessment and emergency procedures on the siteSelect and prepare equipment required for the safe and effective removal of windblown treesPlan a systematic approach to the work to ensure that no unstable trees or root plates are overhanging the cutting positionProcess multiple windblown treesFell leaning, half blown and hung trees
