This course covers multiple wind-blown and broken stems, typically in a windblown crop situation.PRE-REQUISITES: THE FOLLOWING ARE ALL REQUIREDLevel 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance & Crosscutting Level 2 Award in Felling Trees (up to 380mm) Level 3 Award in Felling & Processing Trees (over 380mm) Level 3 Award in Severing Uprooted or Windblown Trees using a Chainsaw COURSE CONTENTIdentify the risk assessment and emergency procedures on the site Select and prepare equipment required for the safe and effective removal of windblown trees Plan a systematic approach to the work to ensure that no unstable trees or root plates are overhanging the cutting position Process multiple windblown trees Fell leaning, half blown and hung trees
