Course overview

This course covers single, wind-blown stems which are still attached to the root plate.

PRE-REQUISITES: THE FOLLOWING ARE ALL REQUIRED:

Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-cutting
Level 2 Award in Felling Trees (up to 380mm)
Level 3 Award in Felling & Processing Trees (over 380mm)

COURSE CONTENT

Sever individual windblown or otherwise uprooted trees both under and over effective guide bar length and diameter (380mm)

Restrain overhanging (forward weighted) root plates before severing stems
