Sheep Scanning

Knowing if your ewes are in lamb and if they are carrying single or multiple lambs plays a very important part in flock management. Identifying the ewes carrying multiple lambs allows management groups to be formed and fed accordingly.

The aim of this 2-day LANTRA approved course is to develop your understanding of the principles of scanning and to gain knowledge of a sound ovine scanning technique. With a combination of both theory and extensive hands-on practical training. Identify and compare equipment (scanners) which are available and suitable for ovine pregnancy diagnosis.
