Course overview
SQA are our selected NVQ national accreditation and awarding body used to turn red, (trained operator) CSCS cards to blue (competent operator) cards. SQA’s purpose is to help people fulfil their potential and maintain standards across vocational education. Engaging with training providers across the UK and internationally, to develop, maintain, and improve a framework of qualifications, and to set and maintain standards for many other awarding bodies, and accredited qualifications.As an accrediting body, SQA sets and maintains standards for many other awarding bodies. They accredit qualifications such as SVQ, which provide evidence that learners can do their jobs well. The accreditation role is similar to work by Ofqual.SQA Accreditation provides extensive support and quality assurance which offers a badge of quality for awarding bodies and their customers.The candidate will be assessed on NVQ units relating to health and safety and machinery operation by means of:
