Course overview
Preparation and maintenance; safe procedures and observation; safe driving and handling of tractors; hitching and manoeuvring with trailer implements; fitting and operation of PTOs; hitching and manoeuvring with mounted implements; basic use of a tractor mounted loaderYou will needA maximum of 2 students per tractor; one tractor must have a loader and attachment (i.e., bucket). Small tipper trailer, material for loading (i.e., muck or gravel, etc.), PTO driven 3-point linkage mounted equipment (i.e, topper, fert spinner, etc.). Safe area to operate.
