Course overview
Our Level 2 Certificate in Veterinary Care Support is ideal should your GCSE results not be what you expected, with the option to progress to our Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Diploma. This one year course will give you the essential knowledge and skills needed to work as an Animal Nursing Assistant in a veterinary practice.
During the course you will learn the practical skills and the underpinning knowledge for all aspects of work in an assisting role within a veterinary practice, including animal handling and care of in-patients such as feeding and exercising. It will also include client interaction and administrative duties.
