the role
we are seeking a reliable and experienced arable operator to support all aspects of crop production. this is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys operating and maintaining modern machinery to a high standard.
key responsibilities
- cultivations, drilling, spraying, harvesting & estate work
- machinery maintenance, servicing, and daily checks
- assisting with grain handling and store management
- accurate record keeping (spray records, operations, compliance)
- maintaining high standards of crop husbandry, machinery care, and health & safety
requirements
- previous experience in arable farming
- strong machinery operation skills (greenstar)
- pa1, pa2, certificates
- telehandler certificate
- good attention to detail and mechanical awareness
