We are a well equipped mixed dairy and arable farm situated 6 miles north of Perth. We also run a busy farm shop and ice cream production unit which uses milk from our cows.
We run a closed herd of 100 pedigree Holstein Friesian cows which are outside grazed during the summer months and housed inside on straw courts during the winter months. We AI with sexed semen and calve all year round.
As suppliers into the Sainsbury Dairy Development Group we adhere to the highest standards of hygiene, welfare, animal husbandry and farm management.
We are looking for a motivated , capable and trustworthy individual who can join our small team to assist and develop the running of our farm.
While dairy tasks will be a key focus it is expected that the person will also be involved in the other day to day duties of the whole farm operations throughout the year. Machinery maintenance and operating skills are essential.
