Farm Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Farm Manager to oversee a 2,500-acre mixed arable estate in the heart of Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for all day-to-day farming operations including cropping plans, machinery management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute seasonal cropping programmes across wheat, barley, oilseed rape and beans
• Manage a team of 6 farm workers and 2 seasonal staff
• Oversee machinery procurement, maintenance and budgets
• Liaise with agronomists and grain merchants
• Ensure compliance with environmental stewardship schemes

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing a large arable unit
• BASIS and FACTS qualifications preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• PA1/PA2 spraying certificates

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 plus farmhouse, vehicle, and pension.
