We are a family run business looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and conscientious person to join us/our team in Balfron, Stirlingshire.
We installed 2 Delaval robots two years ago on a greenfield sight.
Cows are housed all year round with dry cows and young stock out at grazing. We also lamb 250 ewes and grow 250 acres of cereals.
Main tasks would be AI, foot trimming, calf rearing, herd management and other jobs associated with the farm. Seasonal tractor work would also be expected.
On a day to day basis, you would be required to take charge of the dairy herd and robots, currently averaging 10500/cow.
Applicant would be required to feed dairy cows, dry cows and young stock when required.
