Full-time shepherd job - east sussex

we are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced shepherd to join our team on a progressive sheep farm in east sussex.

this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about livestock and takes pride in maintaining high standards of animal welfare and flock management.

the role

you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our flock of approximately 2,500 breeding ewes. responsibilities include:

* daily flock management and livestock husbandry

* lambing and all associated tasks

* moving, handling and monitoring sheep

* working alongside the farm team to maintain high standards across the enterprise

the ideal candidate

the successful applicant will:

* have previous shepherding experience

* be confident working independently and as part of a team

* have a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for sheep farming
