General farm worker job - lancashire

we are a small family run farm with a varied workload. we look after 250 dairy heifers along with our own bull beef. we finish over 1000 hoggs over winter and currently have four broiler houses and are building two further more broiler houses this summer . we complete contract silage work with a self propelled forager for a few local farms and carry out drainage work with a mastenbroek trencher, so being able to operate a digger and machinery would be useful. the farm has modern machinery and tractors. we like to do a lot of our own machinery maintenance in house and like a good winter project in the workshop.

we like to keep our farm clean and tidy. the successful candidate needs to be motivated, conscientious and flexible.

approximately 55 hours a week working alternate weekends.

salary negotiable depending on knowledge and experience.

our farm is approximately 1 mile from the local village of garstang and approx 10 miles from preston and lancaster. we currently have a room available ( with an existing employee) ( house share ) or a newly renovated 3 bed semi available for rent .driving license essential. any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
