We are looking to recruit an experienced GFW on our family-run 2000 acre dairy, arable, beef and sheep farm with a 270 cow herd with followers, TMR fed averaging 12,000 litres and all year-round calving. The farm sits just north of Bridport in West Dorset.
The farm has a modern, well-maintained, machinery fleet comprising of mainly New Holland & John Deere tractors, self-propelled sprayer, forage harvester and combine.
The role will include stock and field work (all operations for dairy and arable carried out in house) to include TMR Feeding, youngstock rearing, yard work and tractor work.
This is a very varied and flexible role which would suit someone with a real passion for livestock, but who also likes the variation with highly skilled tractor work. Experience and an interest in both are essential as is a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
We seek someone looking to progress within the industry; training can be given where required though a telehandler certificate is critical.
