We require a (preferably experienced) farm machinery operator, to undertake harvest duties on arable farm business, spanning 7 farms.
The person we are looking for is reliable, safe, pleasant to work with and have experience with a range of large arable machinery.
We are a 2500 acre contracting business which runs a small team, and requires one more person to carry out operations such as corn carting, cultivations and loading lorries. Our machinery fleet is primarily John Deere tractors and combine. General harvest duties will also be expected of the employees, such as machinery maintainance, mowing and hedge cutting.
There is also a possibility of staying on after harvest for a full time job for the right candidate. This may involve spraying, drilling, fertiliser spreading, loading lorries and getting involved with countryside stewardship agreements.
Telehandler and B+E trailer ticket will be beneficial.
