Harvest job - operator for grainstore/weighbridge/telehandler on 2200ha farm - norfolk

exciting opportunity to working with a large farm and commercial grain store on a 2,200ha family run arable farm. handling around 14,000t of grain for the 2026 harvest season including wheat, barley, osr and grass seed. the site has a continuous flow drier serving 4000t and 8500t of on floor drying with a stirrer system and a public weighbridge. the applicant ideally will have experience in running grain stores and must be able to plan ahead to strategically run the store for maximum efficiency. this includes organising lorry tips, liaising with the chaser bin driver and be able to think quickly on the go whilst keeping accurate records. good computer skills are required to operate the weighbridge software and sampling process. telehandler certificate and experience is necessary as this will be the main machinery, pushing up grain and loading lorries will be the majority of the work. hot evening meals will be provided whilst at work and long hours available on a good hourly wage. very much part of the team, we all work together to achieve the best results. for the right enthusiastic applicant all training and necessary certification can be provided.
