Head tractor driver job - nottinghamshire

we are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious candidate capable of taking charge of all machinery operations such as combining, spraying, fertiliser spreading and drilling.

the varied job role will involve the operation of fendt and john deere tractors running on rtk and sf3.

the successful candidate must be able to adapt to integrate farming operations in a diverse range of enterprises including cereals, carrots, countryside stewardship schemes, renewable projects and industrial storage.

the ideal candidate:

some experience in field scale vegetable production

pa1 and pa2 with previous spraying experience

telehandler ticket

excellent eye for detail

able to work alone or in a team

strong and effective communication skills and able to liaise with contractors

able to problem solve effectively

an understanding of how to complete tasks in an efficient way

hours: variable averaging around 50 hrs per week. we are flexible in sharing workload and appreciate work life balance is very important, but adaptability will be required in busy periods due to the nature of the role.
