Herdsperson job - beef cows - morayshire

we are looking for a team player to join us and take charge of 150 angus cows for 6 months.

starting october , to provide maternity cover

you will be charged with the day to day management of cows and followers, feeding and all handling animal health considerations.

we operate a forage based system , with the majority of our cattle outwintered. cows calve march onwards, outside on grass.

previous experience in beef cow management and calving is a must, as is the ability to operate machinery for feeding and bedding.

a full time position maybe available for the right applicant.

accomodation is available, with kennelling for working dogs.
