we have an opportunity for a self motivated and ambitious individual to join a small team on a pasture based spring block calving dairy farm in the south downs national park. milking 300 cows through a 24/48 herringbone parlour with adf, shedding gate and backing gate. we aim to complete work to a high standard in a positive working environment. maintaining a tight calving block and maximising the potential of our grazing platformare two of the many key areas the successful applicant would be involved in.

responsibilities include:

all aspects associated with the health and well being of the herd

assisting others in the team to complete tasks as required

other duties such as basic tractor/telehandler driving, feeding, bedding, fencing and maintenance will provide variety to the role

the candidate:

experience is essential

animal welfare is a priority

full uk driving license essential

accommodation on farm available.
