Horticultural Supervisor

One of Kent's largest soft fruit operations is seeking a hands-on Horticultural Supervisor for the 2026 growing season (April – October). You will oversee daily picking operations, manage seasonal workers, and ensure quality and yield targets are met.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise a team of 40–60 seasonal pickers across strawberry and raspberry tunnels
• Ensure fruit quality standards are maintained at harvest
• Coordinate with packhouse and logistics teams on daily output
• Manage staff rotas, training, and welfare on site
• Report daily to the Farm Manager on yields and labour efficiency

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience supervising teams in a horticultural or agricultural setting
• Strong organisational and people management skills
• Ability to work long hours during peak season
• Knowledge of food safety and LEAF Marque standards an advantage

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (pro rata for 7-month contract) plus accommodation available.
