Interesting and varied job involving all aspects of harvest and cultivations over 800 acres working with farm owner. Well equipped farm with modern machinery and buildings.
Key Skills Needed:
-Experience with large machinery and trailers on and off road
-Telehandler (JCB loadall)
-Cultivations experience (varied - see below)
-GPS experience helpful (John Deere Greenstar / Trimble GFX)
-Competence and attention to detail
Helpful other skills (not essential)
-Bale work (stacking/loading quadrants bale)
-Workshop and building maintenance
-360 excavator (5 tonne)
-Ploughing (6 furrow mounted)
-Combine / spraying / drilling
-Hedge-cutter
Equipment includes John Deere tractors, Claas Lexion combine, JCB Loadall, 18t grain trailers, Stubble Rake, 6m discs, Sumo Trio, Subsoiler, 6f plough, Simba Unipress, 12m rolls.
Start date flexible but by July at the latest for harvest of Winter Barley. OSR, Wheat and cultivations will follow.
If required excellent barn conversion studio flat accommodation on farm suitable for single person.
