an exciting opportunity have arisen for a lead operator to join our established and diversified family run farm, producing high quality crops, along side our store cattle and finishing yard.
producing:
-pumpkins
-asparagus
-sweet corn
-grain maize
-fodder beet
key responsibilities include :
-operating our samco drill
-drilling sweetcorn and maize with our vaderstad tempo
-operating our modern claas combine and oxbo sweetcorn harvester
-all aspects of cultivations
-machinery maintenance
- relief spraying
the candidate will have a great work ethic that can make this role their own and in certain operations can be in charge of a small team.
must haves:
-be capable and confident in operating and setting up machines to complete the tasks set out.
-good time keeping and a can do attitude.
-previous experience in most of these operations
-full uk driving licence
-an understanding of john deere tractors and greenstar
desirables :
-forklift ticket
-telehandler ticket
-pa1 pa2
-workshop skills
