Regular relief milker/herdsperson organic dairy cotswolds

we are looking for a gloucestershire based person who has experience milking cows to provide regular relief cover as part of our team on our family run organic dairy farm. the role would require covering every other friday, saturday and sunday throughout the year as well as covering staff leave days throughout the year. this would be an ongoing role. you would be part of a young and entusiatic team. hourly pay would be reflective of experience.

we milk 200 mixed breed dairy cows split between autumn and spring block calving operating off an extensive grazing platform, maximising milk from grass. we have a herringbone 20/40 swingover parlour and we milk twice a day. there would also be an opportnity to carry out tractor work (feeding and bedding up) over the winter months. we also have an award winning artisan cheesemaker co-located on the farm with us.

this is a fantastic opportunity for someone local to have a steady income while also having time to pursue another career, academic studying or interest alongside. there may also be the opportunity for full-time employment for the right person.
