Stockperson/general farm worker - somerset

we are looking for full time/part time stockperson/gfw to join our small team on an organic dairy and beef farm.

milking 230 organic dairy cows on a grazing based system predominantly hf/crossbred cows ayr calving.

supplying muller/waitrose with organic milk and abp/sainsburys with organic beef.

training will be provided where required and funded by the farm. experience will be preferred.

currently no accommodations.

key responsibilities:-

calf rearing and management (including implementing vaccination protocols).

youngstock rearing and management

milking (flexible if more hours required)

feeding and bedding. (machinery experience would be preferred.)

3 1/2 days working week. (more days/hours available if required).

flexible days (to include half day at the weekend every week and fridays).

employed and self employed considered

competitive rate of pay

to include progressive pay reviews at least annually.
