Stockperson job - pig farming based in north yorkshire

our client is a successful 500-sow breeder-finisher unit seeking an experienced pig stockperson to join their high-performing team.

this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a progressive unit that has recently come under new management and continues to maintain outstanding performance standards.

the role is to primarily work with weaners, taking responsibility for maintaining the units excellent welfare and production standards.

key responsibilities:

maintain high standards of welfare, feeding, and health monitoring

general unit duties: vaccination, record-keeping, cleaning, and maintenance to keep our productive herd thriving

support other areas of pig husbandry as and when required

work collaboratively in a supportive environment with plenty of variety
