We are a family run Mixed Farming and Large Vegetable business supplying supermarket, spanning 1800 acres in 25 mile radius in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, predominantly Growing Tenderstem Broccoli
The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking person, who is looking to learn new skills in farming as a Tractor driver, with a wide range of opportunities in the business.
Ideal for college leaver looking to join small, dedicated team with large skill base.
This is a varied position covering planting, irrigation and cultivations, offering the opportunity to broaden your skills across multiple areas in the growing cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting seasonal operations including but not limited to planting broccoli, trailer logistics at planting, wide range of cultivations, irrigation and crop destruction.
Most tasks are carried out in-house using our fleet of modern, well-maintained machinery, this includes John Deere tractors, New holland tractors
General Maintenance: Regular machinery care, winter maintenance, and general farm upkeep including fencing and ditching.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous farm experience essential (additional training available for specific skills such as GPS)
Full UK driving licence and the legal right to work in the UK
Loadall certification desirable not essential
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team
Reliable, motivated, and adaptable approach to work
