Twenty-six farm workers are to be honoured with awards at this year's Royal Show for service amounting to some one thousand one hundred and ninety-six years.
The Royal Show will be taking place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire between Sunday, 29 June and Wednesday 2 July.
The awards, presented by the Royal Show's organisers, the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) are presented to employees of members of the RASE for continuous service of not less than 40 years with the same employer or on the same farm.
Recipients will be awarded a medal and a certificate inscribed with their name which will be presented by either His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester or Her Grace the Duchess of Devonshire during the Royal Show.
