Agribank offers agriculture support

The Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) will earmark an additional credit fund of VND10 trillion (US$606 million) for developing the nation's agriculture, according to the bank's General Director, Nguyen The Binh.

The loans from the fund could be used for buying foodstuff, agricultural and aquacultural products and fertiliser as well as for developing businesses at households involved in agricultural production, said Binh.
