Agritel appoints new sales director
A Shropshire company has appointed a new director with the long term aim of developing a UK wide sales force.
Oswestry based Agritel, who supply a variety of industrial and agricultural packaging materials, associated tooling and machines to companies throughout the West Midlands and Wales, welcomed John Morgan to the business this month.
47-year-old Mr Morgan holds a specialist Business Studies with Agriculture diploma and has over 20 years sales experience within the agricultural supplies industry. Prior to joining Agritel he was a regional sales manager for BOCM Pauls Ltd in Newcastle-under-Lyme, where he coordinated sales and marketing activities.
John Duffus, managing director at Agritel, commenting on Mr Morgan's appointment said: "John has a proven track record in sales and has joined Agritel at an exciting time in the company's development. Our customers now cover a broader industrial spectrum so his experience and knowledge will be invaluable in maintaining existing and securing new markets. Our overall aim, of course, is to consistently provide top quality products and services at a competitive price. Whether that will be through an on-the-road sales force or via tele-marketing in the future, John has the remit to decide the best way forward.
Mr Morgan is very excited about his new position. He said: "The opportunity for Agritel to expand will be achieved through a great deal of hard work and planning but it is a challenge I relish!"
