Agrovista UK Ltd, the Crop protection, agronomy and consultancy company has expanded by employing the services of fruit consultant Leon Jahae, to add to their team of fruit agronomists.
"Mr. Jahae left FAST at the end of December 2007 to pursue his career as a self employed fruit consultant" said Mr. Charles Coslett, southern regional director for Agrovista. "We at Agrovista saw an opportunity to be able to add skills, especially in the fields of fruit nutrition and tree management to our team of established fruit agronomists in the UK. Leon will bring a wealth of experience and further knowledge to our existing team"
Mr Jahae is well known within the fruit industry, and as well as his UK client base, he is involved in other European countries, especially Italy and Poland. Agrovista see it as adding a new dimension to their fruit division, which also draws on experience and technology from international sister companies.
Mr. Jahae has also set up a new business venture, Organic Green Orchards, in the West Midlands and because of this he is able to give first hand practical advice to growers on the management of their orchards and how to maximise production, both in organic and conventional crops.
