Australia-Excellent Grass season.
AUSTRALIA-GRASS NOW WHERE THERE NEVER WAS BEFORE.
It’s more than 12 months ago that the Paroo River – one of the last major unregulated arteries of the Murray-Darling system – came down in flood from Queensland.
And although most maps show the Paroo entering the Darling River somewhere north of Wilcannia, the reality is that the Paroo seldom gets that far..
Instead, its floodwaters are mostly dispersed across the upstream landscape through a natural system of channels and lakes, producing a seasonal explosion of finishing feed.
Such is now the case on "Myall"/ "Norma Downs", a 54,468-hectare (134,623-acre) Western Lands aggregation just listed for sale 62 kilometres north-west of Tilpa.
The aggregation has been listed for sale by expressions of interest by David Russell of Landmark Russell, Cobar, on behalf of Pat Woodberry.
Expressions of interest close on April 3, and recent nearby sales suggest a bidding range above $30/ac ($75/ha).
