Australian beef exports in March jumped 11% to 88,660 boneless metric tons from 79,781 tons in February to also be up 11% on year, helped by sharply stronger exports to the U.S., according to monthly figures issued late Wednesday by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Other highlights in the export data include a modest revival in exports to Russia, a rebound in exports to South Korea, a slight rise in exports to Japan - the biggest overseas market - and continued strong on-year growth in exports to Indonesia.
