Poor follow-up to last week’s falls

Conditions across Australia were generally much drier this week, with little to no falls inland with the exception of central WA, which saw widespread falls of up to 50mm. Coastal NSW again saw large falls, particularly around Port Macquarie, which recorded 206mm for the week. The West Coast of Tasmania – Mount Read received the most rain (59mm), while small parts of far North Queensland, from Townsville up, also recorded good falls during the week.
