Australia’s biggest sheep meat exporter, Roger Fletcher, has built a private railway line.
The 1.2 kilometre line and depot at Dubbo will help transport meat, wool, wheat and other produce direct to Sydney for export.
Mr Fletcher says the facility is crucial to his national and international operations.
"It gives us a better guarantee of getting our products to the wharf," he says.
"We can’t operate unless we’ve got all links in the chain operating.
