BIRD FLU STRIKES AGAIN.

The last bird flu in Bangladesh was in February 2007 when is cost the nation 40% of its poultry flock, until it re-emerged in October of this year.

Reports from Dhaka on Tuesday, indicate a new outbreak and a very serious one has occurred in the country and the WHO have been alerted.

Bangladesh is one of the worlds largest poultry producers with over one million people working in the industry. The country produces 220 million chickens and 37 million ducks annually.

A little baby girl who contracted the disease has fully recovered, giving her parents the best Xmas present they will ever receive, the life of their daughter.
