BRAZIL-HELP FOR MEAT COMPANIES.

Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture said Tuesday that no blanket financial package has been planned for Brazilian meatpackers. "We are in discussions about the impact of the international financial crisis on the meatpacking industry, but there isn’t a package (of measures) ready to help the sector," Agriculture Minister Reinhold Stephanes said in a press release.
