Brazil’s JBS S.A. upcoming $400 million, five-year bond is seen pricing Wednesday morning to yield about 13%, a fund manager familiar with the deal said Monday.

The company controls leading beef exporter Friboi. The books on the bond issuance close mid-afternoon Tuesday. The bonds will be issued through the company’s international subsidiary JBS USA , the person said.


JPMorgan (JPM), Bank of America (BAC), Credit Suisse (CS), Rabobank (RBK.YY), and Bank of Montreal (BMO) are coordinating the sale. The proceeds will go to repay inter-company debt and other corporate purposes.
