BOLD PLAN BY JBS.SWIFT.

JBS-Swift announced plans last year to finance over 4,000 farmers, by supplying them with calves and weaner cattle to fatten for beef.

The bold move, is to ensure a regular supply of cattle to the worlds largest cattle processors.

Brazil raises most of its cattle on grass and prices have increased over 80 pc in the last two years, for store cattle.

The plan will include the building of feedlots in Brazil, to fatten cattle up to a carcass weight of 285 kilos.

The scheme has been activated by the new JBS-Bank, that opened in Brazil
