Brazilian meatpacker JBS SA (JBSS3.BR) is willing to assess partnerships with meatpackers facing financial difficulties in Brazil, reported local newspaper valor Economico Thursday. "We are open to listening to proposals from meatpackers that would fit into our strategy and our philosophy," Valor reported JBS’s Jose Batista Junior as saying. JBS was unavailable for further comment.
