Oil has started to be pumped from the Agbami Fields off the coast of Nigeria, in which the government of Brazil owns a 13%stake.
This will me more petro dollars, to boost the coffers of the Brazilian Exchequer.
The floating storage vessel for oil at the site, is the largest in the world and makes the access of the fine oil simple, for offshore drilling.
The news was coupled with the president of Brazil, announcing his bid for the 2016 Olympic Games, that have never been held in Latin America.
Brazil is now a large world player, in the oil export business, as well as the worlds largest exporter of beef, soy, grain and pork.
Brazil is the worlds second largest exporter of poultry meat, coffee and sugar and cotton.
