BRAZIL-SHAREHOLDERS TO SUE MEAT COMPANY.
Shareholders of Brazilian food company Sadia S/A (SDA)
agreed to sue a former top executive for allegedly breaking the company’s
risk-management policies, a company press agent said Monday. A general assembly
of Sadia’s top shareholders unanimously agreed to sue and hold responsible
Adriano Ferreira, director of corporate finance and development, for losses of
over 600 million Brazilian reals, or $270.2 million.
