There has been a mass exodus of meat workers from Brazil to Europe, especially the Republic of Ireland, where they can earn 5 times the salary they would make at home.

Australia is now taking Brazilin meat workers, under the new visa system for meat workers.

The new system known as the Temporary Business Standard Business Sponsorship visa, allows skilled meat workers to gain employment in Australia.

Meanwhile back in Brazil, the economic boom has meant that there are not enough educated workers, to take up low management and clerical positions.
