Land O’Frost has introduced two flavors of what it calls "Breakfast Cuts" Canadian Bacon: Natural Hickory Smoked and Sweet Country Maple.

The Breakfast Cuts are extra-thick slices of the traditional breakfast pork item. The Hickory Smoked version is processed with natural hickory wood chips rather than with artificial liquid smoke additives. The Sweet Country Maple variety uses natural maple.

Land O’Frost, based in Lansing, Ill., produces mostly pre-packaged lunchmeats.

"Land O’Frost is excited about growth potential in the breakfast packaged meats segment," President David Van Eekeren said in a news release. "We will continue to look for the right opportunities to provide our customers great tasting breakfast meats."
