Cephaguard autumn offer unveiled

Intervet has launched this year's Cephaguard autumn offer, aimed at promoting its Cephaguard dairy herd pack. The herd pack contains 5 x 100ml of Cephaguard 2.5% injectable.

The offer, which started at the beginning of October, provides one free box of 10 x 30ml syringes with every herd pack. This is sufficient to treat 10 cows with combination therapy.

Data shows that when treating a 625kg cow for mastitis using combination therapy only 2 x 25ml injections of Cephaguard 2.5% are required, 24 hours apart, in conjunction with three Cephaguard LC tubes 12 hours apart. Milk withhold is the same (84 hours) as when simply using three tubes of Cephaguard LC.
